This is the website and portfolio of Magnus Bendtsen a 28 year Interaction Design student at the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design.

Being at CIID means that I am part of the Interaction Design Pilot Year 2008/2009.

I have been given a unique chance to learn from gifted people from all over the world on disciplines ranging from programming and computational design to designing tangible user interfaces and doing service design.We are 21 people making this journey together learning from each other as we go along exchanging cultures and viewpoints while working our as…. off.

The final stop of this journey is my thesis which I would like to share with anyone who finds it interesting. I have found myself increasingly focused on the area of health care as the year has progressed and have chosen to do an investigation into the lives and needs of people suffering from dementia. I know that this will be a huge challenge for me professionally and personally but also a unique opportunity to work within a field where the person in need seldom is able to express it themselves.  Doing investigations into a group of people that is challenged both by their surroundings and from mentally from within will hopefully teach me valuable lessons that I can carry with me also when dealing with less challenged groups.  Working with this topic will also challenge my method and my creativity in ways I can probably not yet imagine.
